Meet the Designer

Abigail Leali

My name is Abigail Leali.I’m a graphic and web designer based out of the Greater Chicago Area.

I specialize in helping mission-driven organizations, universities, non-profits, and small businesses develop brands, websites, and resources they’ll be proud to share with all their networks.

When I’m not designing brands or developing websites, I’m usually drawing & painting, writing articles or fiction, untangling my family history, traveling, or practicing Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I might also be playing with my Cockapoo, Winnie.

The Wenden Whale brand is the product of two of my favorite pieces of literature: Moby-Dick by Herman Melville (yes, I did like it, sorry) and the Anglo-Saxon poem, The Seafarer. Was integrating these lovely works into my branding a convenient excuse to use some of my other favorite quotes about art? Yes. But if I’m lucky, maybe you’ll like them as much as I do. 🙂

The Process

1. Communications Audit

Not sure where to start? That’s okay. Before we start working on your brand or website, we’ll dive deep into your current identity and ask: What is going well? What could be better? What are your target audiences? What do people identify with in your brand? How can we preserve your organization’s essence into a cohesive brand or web system that can last for years to come?

Your organization is unique, and so are your needs. This audit ensures your communications will reflect them.

2. Design & Development

Every design has to start somewhere, but where it ends is up to you. We’ll work together to hone an identity or website that you’ll be proud to share with all your audiences.

No one knows your organization better than you. With a minimum of two full revisions for each deliverable, along with regular check-ins and consultations, your designs will reflect the best of both your institution and your target market’s interests and needs.

3. Ongoing Support

It takes time to implement a new communications structure, whether it be a brand system or a new website. With comprehensive brand guidelines optimized for all skill levels, complimentary training sessions included for any new resources, and ongoing support packages available, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

4. Flexible Options

Big dreams take time to realize. We’ll communicate throughout the process to make sure you’re getting the best deal possible at all times. With flexible pricing options, bundle discounts, and transparent processes, you’re always in control.
